R.I.P. Rosco

Wednesday, after a long day at work, I picked up Jacob from daycare. We came home and Jacob started looking for Rosco just like he does everytime we walk in the door. Rosco ran up to greet us and I let him out in the back yard to go potty. Paul came home and we talked for a few minutes. I asked him to go let Rosco in because he had been out there long enough to do his business. Paul stuck his head back in and said he couldn't find him. We looked all over, called for him, but still no Rosco. Finally, Paul looked over the fence in the neighbor's backyard and saw Rosco laying there in the grass. He was dead.

The neighbor has 3 huskies that are very aggressive. They have dug holes under the fence and I stacked 15 to 20 bricks down in a foot deep hole to keep them out of my yard. They have made huge holes in the fence by jumping on it and everything else while they are trying to get at my dogs or myself. My negligent neighbor refuses to repair the damage caused by their dogs. SO.......... they dragged Rosco under a huge hole in the fence and killed him. No apologies. No remorse. She just looked at with a blank stair of 'I really don't care'. We called the police only to be told that there was nothing they could do.
